The Wow Factor: Aptera Hovercraft

This vehicle is pretty amazing. We all imagined that by the 21st century we would be flying around in hovercrafts, and it seems as though this dream is that much closer.

This incredibly chic hovercraft design was thought up by the Aptera Motors Company, and is positively ingenious.

To the average person it looks surreal enough but to a vehicle professional even more, as they can really respect the details that have gone into the design of this vehicle.

The way the wheels are positioned make it look as though the vehicle is just gliding down the road, and the efficiency of the hovercraft is one of its best features of all.

The hybrid Aptera hovercraft will begin production in 2009, for a price of $30,000.

I own one of those old Geo Metro's that get 60 mpg, but I am looking forward to a future Aptera having placed my $500. deposit or reservation. If you think about it, the risk is minimal, a refundable deposit! If you got 2% in the bank you would be lucky, so your only risk, is really about $10.00
